Understanding the Realm
Things to know about the World
Some learn the world from books. Sir Threign learned it from survival. Every landscape is a battlefield, every creature a potential threat or ally. Understanding isn’t about what you’re told – it’s about what you’ve lived, what you’ve bled for, and what keeps you breathing when everything else wants you dead.
Creatures that Hunt
The Wildlife of Ethelasia
Creatures don’t care if you’re soft. They’ll eat you just the same. Know what hunts, know what feeds, and don’t waste time with pretty words. In this realm, you’re either predator or prey – and apparently Sir Threign has been been both.

Places to go
Bann's Stead
“Small, quiet, tucked away. Place you can sit with a hot plate, stretch your legs, and no one comes botherin’. Sometimes it’s worth more than gold, just bein’ left alone for an hour.”
Kings Crag
“Place where the dwarves lay their best to rest. You feel it in your bones when you stand there — weight of blood, weight of names. Reminds you what it means to fight for somethin’ bigger than yourself. Ain’t about gold or glory, it’s about bein’ remembered right.”
Farrow Farms
“Folk there don’t ask questions. They work their land, keep their heads down, feed their families. Honest hands, honest sweat. Makes a man think maybe there’s still bits of the world not spoiled by crowns or guilds.”
Lower Nexus
"Upper Nexus is where them fancy mages and cheats go and spend their time. Nothing but thievin' up there, from people a 'undred miles away who know no better. Sorts of people who would sell you out for a kickback. Lower Nexus is where the salt o' the earth are. These are people who are made to last. The sort you can bleed with."
Broken Bend
“By the river, slow and easy. Mead’s good enough to make you forget you’re breathin’. Folk smile, but they don’t press. River runs quiet, and so does the town. Don’t need much more’n that.”
Best Weapons for Animals
Wolves don't care about fancy fighting. Neither does Dacius Threign. A good axe, a sharp knife, and knowing where to strike - that's survival. Everything else is just showing off.
